SPEAKERS REFORUM WINNING THE HEARTS | THE FUTURE OF WORK

John Ferguson

For more than 15 years, John has been studying key issues in the sphere of global economy and geopolitics, analyzing global trends and helping hundreds of companies to forecast their development. He is the Director of Country Analysis at The Economist Intelligence Unit — the largest research organization providing forecasting and advisory services such as country reports and economic forecasts to businesses and governments.

John holds an Honours degree in Psychology, and his career started in the social sphere where he’d work with teenage and adult addicts. This experience gave John the understanding of how important public institutions are in people’s lives, and became a cornerstone of his future career in the global analysis sphere.

John studies the influence of climate change, geopolitics, artificial intelligence, labor market development and automation of business processes on the global economy.

John Ferguson is one of those people whose opinion you want to hear mapping out your business for the nearest decade.

An interesting fact from John’s biography: during his last year of Master’s in International Economics, John would work from home and take care of his one-year-old child.
